San Antonio, now the seventh-largest city in the United States, has a dynamic and diverse economy. The city has a strong foundation in the energy, real estate, heavy equipment, construction and financial services businesses that have built Texas. In addition, San Antonio is fast becoming a leader in the new economy, including the health sciences and biosciences, telecommunications, aerospace, technology and internet security businesses, and is a growing center for international business.

Because San Antonio preserves its rich history, tradition, culture, and friendly ambience, it is an ideal setting for our San Antonio office, which prides itself on its combination of professionalism, camaraderie, and loyalty among its attorneys and with its clients. Our office is conveniently located downtown in the Weston Centre, in the heart of the business community, and beside the beautiful San Antonio Riverwalk.

Our San Antonio office opened in 1991, and since that time has been among the fastest-growing law firms in the city. We have attracted attorneys with the highest degree of talent and character: the kind of people you would trust with your most important matters. In 1998, the San Antonio and Austin offices of the prestigious Texas firm of Small, Craig and Werkenthin joined Jackson Walker. Then in 1999, we welcomed the attorneys from the Alamo City's largest intellectual property law firm. More recently in 2001, the law firm of Gresham, Davis, Gregory, Worthy & Moore, which was one of San Antonio's oldest firms, added its attorneys to our ranks, bringing with them their blue chip clients to whom they have provided over a century of service.

Through the addition of other well-respected lawyers, our San Antonio office now has approximately 40 attorneys who possess expertise in business transactions (including corporate, real estate and finance), litigation, estate planning, health care, intellectual property, labor and employment, bankruptcy, securities and tax law. This broad array of practice groups allows us to provide a full range of efficient and cost-effective services to our clients. Clients are also able to draw upon the experience and resources of our 300+ attorneys across Texas. In addition to being dedicated to the business and legal community, our attorneys are actively involved in many civic and charitable organizations, and that involvement allows us to give back to the wonderful community in which we live and work.

From Airport and 281 North:

• Take 281 South to Downtown
• Exit Commerce Street
• Take RIGHT (it will be a one-way street)
• Turn RIGHT on Soledad
• Cross over Travis
• We are the SECOND building on the RIGHT (Corner of
• Soledad and Pecan and across the street from Crown Plaza hotel)
• Once you cross Travis, the building's visitor parking lot is on your RIGHT. There is a surface parking lot on the LEFT.

From I-10 West and 410:

• Take I-10 East toward Downtown
• As freeway splits, take UPPER LEVEL
• Exit Downtown/Santa Rosa
• Curve LEFT and follow Santa Rosa sign
• Come to 2nd street light (Martin) and turn LEFT on Martin
• Martin will curve RIGHT into Pecan Street
• Cross over Cameron, N. Flores, Main and Soledad
• We are first building on RIGHT (Corner of Pecan and Soledad and across the street from Crown Plaza hotel)
• To building parking lot, go around building, continue on Pecan Street to St. Mary's Street. Take RIGHT on Travis; take RIGHT on Soledad. Visitor parking garage entrance is on the RIGHT.

From I-35 North and 410:

• Take 35 South to 37 South (281) to Downtown
• Exit Commerce Street and travel West to Soledad
• Take a RIGHT on Soledad (one-way street)
• Cross over Travis
• We are the SECOND building on RIGHT (Corner of
• Soledad and Pecan Streets and across the street from Crown Plaza hotel)
• Once you cross Travis, the building's visitor parking lot is on your RIGHT. There is a surface parking lot on the LEFT.
