Biography
Shannon Quine focuses her practice on the representation of real estate developers, land owners and non-profit organizations in a variety of land use and real estate development issues.
Shannon has represented developers and property owners on issues such as zoning changes, specific use permits, and planned development districts. She focuses on compliance with development regulations and has counseled clients with regard to land use entitlements and permitting issues, land use due diligence, annexation, vested rights, comprehensive planning, and affordable housing.
Prior to joining Jackson Walker, Shannon served as a Legislative Aide for United States Congressman Ron DeSantis. There she provided research support and analysis on issues before the Foreign Affairs, Judiciary, and Oversight and Government Reform Committees, and met with lobbyists to discuss current and developing bills before Congress. During law school, Shannon worked as a student attorney for the Federal Legislation and Administrative Clinic, where she drafted strategy and informational memoranda on issues arising under the Voting Rights Act.
