Jackson Walker is pleased to welcome Wasif Qureshi as a partner in the Firm’s Litigation group.
With nearly 15 years of experience, Wasif has represented and counseled various types of companies in intellectual property legal matters. Businesses of all sizes from around the world count on Wasif’s skills and experience to help them navigate through IP issues and obtain successful results. Having appeared in almost 150 cases, Wasif is particularly experienced in patent litigation, a practice in which he is recognized both at state and national levels.

Wasif joins Brit Nelson, another recent lateral addition to Jackson Walker’s intellectual property practice, to further supplement the services the Houston office can provide to clients. The two are among several high-profile attorneys who have made the move to Jackson Walker in the past two years, as the Firm’s Texas-friendly culture and strong financial management have proven to be a strong draw for top-tier attorneys looking to both expand their practices and better serve existing clients.
Prior to joining Jackson Walker, Wasif was a Principal at Fish & Richardson P.C. Wasif earned his B.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with honors, from the University of Houston and his J.D. degree from the University of Houston Law Center. Among various bar admissions, Wasif is also registered to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office.
