On behalf of Canadian apparel company Gildan Activewear, Jackson Walker successfully confirmed an arbitration award of $2 million for the severance payment Gildan made after purchasing a subsidiary of Ennis, Inc. and terminating an executive.

Meet Len
Litigation partner Len A. Wade focuses his practice on complex litigation, mediation, and arbitration. Len received training from the Attorney-Mediators Institute in Dallas. He is a member of the Association of Attorney-Mediators and the Commercial Panel of Neutrals for the American Arbitration Association. Prior to serving as a judge for the 141st District Court for the State of Texas from 2003 to 2009, Len represented both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal court litigation for 15 years. He has also served as an adjunct professor at the Pepperdine University School of Law. Recently, Len was included in the “Top Attorneys” list by 360 West for his work in Arbitration and Mediation and The Best Lawyers in America for Arbitration in 2019.
Meet Allison
Allison B. Allman is an associate in the litigation section of Jackson Walker. Before joining Jackson Walker, Allison served as a law clerk to the Honorable Reed O’Connor of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. During law school, Allison served as Editor-in-Chief of the Texas Review of Law & Politics and as a student attorney ad litem in the Children’s Rights Clinic. She also gained valuable litigation experience as a judicial intern for the Honorable David Ezra of the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas.
