Boston-based specialty insurance broker One80 Intermediaries has announced the acquisition of Jackson Walker client Innovative Risk Management (IRM) and its underwriting affiliate Programs Plus.
Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, since 1991, IRM provides agents, brokers, and self-insured entities with captive and alternative risk solutions. Services include captive solutions, program management, claims mitigation and administrations, underwriting, loss control and specialty program development and management.
Through its underwriting affiliate Programs Plus, IRM markets specialty insurance programs for apartments, condo and townhouse associations, and other risks. The package includes property, inland marine, crime equipment breakdown, and general liability coverages with an option to purchase umbrella insurance.
The Jackson Walker team was led by Byron F. Egan and included Carl C. Butzer, Greta E. Cowart, Brady J. Cox, William H. Hornberger, Brandon C. Janes, Ronald D. Kerridge, Daniel Lewis, Steven D. Moore, and David Schlottman.
