Biography
Abby Lahvis is an attorney in the Trial & Appellate Litigation practice of Jackson Walker’s Dallas office.
Before joining the firm, Abby clerked for Judge Sidney A. Fitzwater at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. Abby handled various civil matters such as constitutional issues, securities fraud, employment discrimination, and qualified immunity. She also worked on civil, criminal, and immigration appeals when Judge Fitzwater sat with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit during her clerkship.
In law school, Abby served as Editor in Chief of the SMU Law Review and as a student attorney for the Judge Elmo B. Hunter Legal Clinic for Victims of Crimes Against Women, where she represented a client in enforcing her contractual alimony award.
