Jackson Walker partner Charles L. Babcock will join the Texas General Counsel Forum on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, for a virtual ethics CLE program discussing the ethical restrictions on lawyers who attempt to generate publicity prior to trial, as well as strategies for developing and executing an effective pre-trial media plan.
The program, “Seeding The Venue – Risks and Rewards of Executing a Media Plan for Pre-Trial Publicity,” takes place at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12. Jackson Walker proudly serves as the gold underwriter host of the program.
Chip is a nationally recognized trial and appellate attorney focused on bet-the-company litigation, First Amendment litigation, commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation, government investigations, media litigation, and appellate litigation. Outside of his practice, Chip is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, the American Law Institute, the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, the American Board of Trial Advocates, and the Litigation Counsel of America. He is also a trustee of The Center for American and International Law and has long served as a Research Fellow of CAIL.
