Jackson Walker partner Bill Dahlstrom will speak at a Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) Showcase and Workshop presented by the Urban Land Institute (ULI) North Texas. The workshop is April 2 at the CityPlace Conference Center in Dallas, Texas.
Mr. Dahlstrom will participate on a panel titled “Garland: An Eastern Getaway: Economy, Education, Energy!” Other panelists include David Leininger, DART (moderator); Dana Burghdoff, City of Fort Worth; Shelley Poticha, Reconnecting America; Steve Stamos, Fairfield Residential; and Scott Polikov, Gateway Planning Group. The ULI North Texas workshop will provide in-depth analysis and interaction among audience members, presenters, and experts involved with TOD and sustainable communities within the North Texas region and beyond.
Mr. Dahlstrom focuses his practice on all areas of land use. He incorporates a planning problem solving process in land use and land development issues, including zoning, subdivision, annexation, economic development, development agreements, signage, ordinance drafting, transportation, comprehensive planning, utilities, special districts, development fees, conservation, master planned developments, and aesthetics. Mr. Dahlstrom received his Bachelors in Urban Planning and Design, cum laude, from the University of Cincinnati College of Design Architecture and Art and his J.D. degree from the University of Texas School of Law.
