Egan is scheduled to speak on the “Texas Two Step: What’s all the Fuss About?” at The University of Texas School of Law’s (UT Law CLE) 32nd Annual LLCs, LPs and Partnerships Conference on Thursday, July 13, 2023. The presentation is about using a merger under the Texas Business Organizations Code to divide the assets and liabilities of a corporation, LLC or partnership among the original entity and one or more new entities. The presentation will also cover comparable entity restructurings under Delaware law.

Byron F. Egan regularly handles business combinations of corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships, including mergers and acquisitions, purchases and sales of stock, and other equity interests, and sales and exchanges of assets. He also handles the related entity governance and structure issues.
