Jeffrey Frost to Present on Physician Employment Agreements at UT Law CLE’s Health Law Conference; Virginia Alverson Mimmack Serving on Planning Committee

Jackson Walker partner Jeffrey H. Frost will be a speaker at The University of Texas School of Law’s 36th Annual Health Law Conference. The event is scheduled to take place at Hilton Houston Post Oak on April 24-25, 2025.

Jeff will present a session titled “Deconstructing the Physician Employment Agreement.” The presentation will provide an in-depth overview of significant terms that frequently arise in the negotiation of physician employment agreements. Attendees will gain insights from both the employer’s and the physician’s counsel perspectives on critical issues such as restrictive covenants, payment for tail coverage, termination rights, hearing rights, and other negotiation terms.

In addition to his role as a speaker, Jeff is also a member of the Conference Faculty.

Meet Jeff

Jeffrey H. Frost draws on more than 20 years of experience as in-house counsel to advise clients on healthcare regulatory matters, hospital operations, and medical staff issues. As the former Deputy General Counsel at an integrated health network in Northern California, Jeff’s experience includes advising medical staff, medical groups, and hospitals on a full range of credentialing, privileging, peer review, and quality assurance topics, as well as assisting hospital administration with governmental investigations, fraud and abuse claims, agency complaints, and medical staff hearings.
