As U.S. District Judge Xavier Rodriguez was honored with the presentation of his official portrait at the United States Courthouse in San Antonio on Friday, April 12, Jackson Walker partner Erica Benites Giese delivered remarks on behalf of the San Antonio Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
Other speakers included the Hon. Orlando Garcia, Steve Alfonso Chiscano, Lawrence Morales II, Leslie Hyman, and Marcy Greer.
On her participation in the ceremony, Erica said, “It was a great honor to give remarks to recognize Judge Xavier Rodriguez during his moving portrait unveiling ceremony. It was a very special occasion for a judge who epitomizes honor, ethics, and integrity.”
Judge Rodriguez has served as a U.S. District Judge for the Western District of Texas since August 2003. He previously served as a Justice of the Supreme Court of Texas.
