Jackson Walker successfully represented Prophet Equity, a Southlake, Texas-based private equity firm, and its portfolio company, Acton Mobile, in its acquisition of the North American mobile office fleet of Mobile Mini, Inc. (Nasdaq GS: MINI). The transaction closed on May 15, 2015.
Founded in 1968, Acton Mobile is a Baltimore, Maryland-based provider of modular space and portable storage rental solutions to the construction, commercial, education, healthcare and government markets. Acton Mobile is a multi-regional company specializing in providing temporary building solutions for non-residential construction and business customers. This acquisition of approximately 9,400 units will make Acton Mobile the fourth largest mobile office leasing company in the United States, and will position Acton Mobile for expansion into new geographic areas.
