The transaction closed on Monday, August 1. Infor is one of the largest suppliers of cloud-based âenterprise resource planningâ software, and hopes to bolster their new CloudSuite Retail platform with Starmount technology.
Representing Starmount was a Jackson Walker team led by Brandon Janes that included Carlos Treviño and Jessica Verran-Lingard. This successful transaction demonstrates Jackson Walkerâs depth of experience representing technology sector clients in all types of mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and other strategic alliances.
Founded in 2006 by Joe Halloum, Starmount makes point-of-sale, mobile shopping and store inventory management software, making it easier for salespeople to process transactions while interacting with customers. With 90 employees in Austin, Infor plans to expand the Austin workforce. Starmount is fast-growing and recently reported that it had 42 percent year-over-year growth in sales revenue.
