During this presentation, David Schlottman will discuss the latest developments in wage and hour enforcement and law over the past year.
David is an adviser and litigator who handles complex cases involving employees, the workplace, and related business disputes. He has wide-ranging experience in helping clients with business problems and lawsuits involving wage-and-hour issues, employee competition, theft of trade secrets, contract claims, compensation disputes, employment discrimination and retaliation, and union-related disputes. In addition to his practice, David serves on the leadership councils for both the State Bar of Texas Labor and Employment Law Section and the Labor & Employment Law Section of the Dallas Bar Association. John Jansonius and Rod Tanner (Tanner & Associates PC) will present this discussion on the latest news involving the National Labor Relations Board, including recent developments under the National Labor Relations Act.
In his practice, John focuses on defense of employment discrimination claims, wrongful discharge claims, unfair labor practice claims, and denial of benefits claims. He has represented clients in numerous jury and nonjury trials in state and federal court and has presented oral arguments to the U.S. Supreme Court and the federal courts of appeals.
