Jackson Walker congratulates Virginia Alverson Mimmack on her election as a council member of the State Bar of Texas Health Law Section.

Virginia is a partner in the Dallas office and the chair of Jackson Walker’s Healthcare group. In her practice, she focuses on providing comprehensive legal services to a broad spectrum of healthcare providers, and has particular experience representing physicians, telehealth companies, hospitals, and healthcare start-up companies.

The State Bar of Texas Health Law Section is dedicated to supporting health law practitioners across the state and nationwide in every practice setting. Members evaluate the Texas Board of Legal Specialization’s annual health law specialization examination, provide updates of health law developments from the Texas Register, co-sponsor an annual CLE conference with the Texas Hospital Association, and offer a CLE session at the State Bar’s annual meeting.
