Concentra Expands Occupational Health Services With Acquisition of Nova Medical Centers

Jackson Walker is pleased to announce its successful representation of Concentra Group Holdings Parent, Inc. in its acquisition of U.S. Occmed Holdings, the parent company of Nova Medical Centers. The transaction marks a significant milestone in Concentra’s strategic expansion in the occupational health services sector.

Based in Houston, Texas, Nova operates 67 centers across Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, Indiana, and Wisconsin, providing a comprehensive suite of services including workers’ compensation injury care, physical therapy, drug and alcohol screening, and pre-employment physicals. With the addition of Nova’s facilities, Concentra will operate more than 770 occupational health centers and onsite health clinics across 42 states.

In a press release, Concentra’s President and Chief Financial Officer, Matt DiCanio, stated, “This acquisition is an important achievement and marks a key milestone for Concentra. We are proud of our demonstrated commitment to execute our business strategy to deploy capital for investments that broaden access and services for our deep and diverse customer base and align with our strategic objectives.”
