“It was an absolute pleasure to join forces with the German American Chamber of Commerce South and to welcome German Bundesliga teams VfB Stuttgart and 1. FC Köln to Texas,” Manny said. “The time is now for professional soccer teams from Europe to take advantage of the excitement and associated business opportunities prior to the 2026 World Cup hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Texas is a fantastic market for professional sports and the game of soccer will only become more and more popular here. We also have an ever-growing presence of European business and investment in this state. I can’t wait to see more European soccer teams experience what Texas has to offer and look forward to welcoming back VfB Stuttgart and 1. FC Köln soon.”

Houston Managing Partner Priya Coffey noted, “We were thrilled to host the German Bundesliga teams VfB Stuttgart and 1. FC Köln in our office. It was a wonderful afternoon spent with the teams and Houston business leaders exchanging ideas about potential growth and investment in the US, as well as talking football! Jackson Walker was honored to be a part of the teams’ U.S. visit and the various events.”
