Jackson Walker is a proud sponsor of the State Bar of Texas’ 2009 Annual Meeting, which will be held June 25-26 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas. The event features guest speakers such as Justice Antonin Scalia, Doris Kearns Goodwin, David Brooks, and Morris Dees.

Several Jackson Walker attorneys will also be speaking as part of the event’s lineup of CLE sessions. Michael Kaufman will participate in a panel on “Estate Planning and Probate Planning for Non-Recognized Relationships,” Mark Miller will address “Neglected Issues in Copyright Cases,” and Steve Moore will present an update on the margin tax. As a member of the State Bar Annual Meeting Planning Committee, JW partner Byron Egan was heavily involved in organizing the event, which also includes an ethics panel, a diversity forum, and a legislative update.
