Jackson Walker proudly congratulates Amanda Van Deusen on receiving the Special Award – Education from the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL). On June 24, 2021, Amanda will receive the award at the AAPL Annual Meeting held in Arlington, Texas.
Each year, AAPL’s Awards Program recognizes members and local associations for their service and achievements in the land profession. Honorees for each award are selected from a pool of nominees from over 41 local associations and over 12,000 land professionals. For more information, visit the AAPL Awards page.
Since 2016, Amanda has volunteered her time with the Houston Association of Professional Landmen (HAPL) as a member of the Board of Directors and as Chairman of the Technical Workshop, a nationwide continuing education event held annually. This past year, she was promoted to 2nd Vice President and Chairman of the Audit Committee for the 2020-2021 term. In this role, Amanda has coordinated speakers and topics at monthly luncheons and webinars.
This marks the second time Amanda has received the AAPL Special Award – Education for her service. She also received HAPL’s “Above and Beyond” Award in 2015.
“It’s truly an honor to have served this great organization, and I am grateful for this recognition,” Amanda said. “It wouldn’t be possible without the support of HAPL and my fellow committee members for the Technical Workshop.”
