Biography

Bart is a dedicated, collaborative, and responsive advisor to sophisticated commercial real estate and finance clients. While smoothly navigating complex transactions, he provides tailored and innovative solutions for lenders, developers, sellers, and purchasers. Bart combines strategic insights with practical know-how and prompt service delivery to consistently advance his clients’ interests and exceed their expectations. In addition, Bart has worked with developers in providing invaluable insights and services across a wide range of projects. These include securing construction and permanent financing across multifamily, multi-use, office, industrial, and retail projects.

With a deep understanding of acquisition, construction, development, and builder finance, Bart skillfully guides each phase of the deal—from detailed diligence review of purchase and sale agreements, options, leases, ground leases, and title/survey issues to steadfast negotiation of loan documents, and third-party construction and development agreements. His work often involves coordinating with a wide array of stakeholders, including builders, lessors, lessees, engineers, architects, and contractors, to secure tri-party agreements, estoppels, subordinations, and consents that align with his clients’ best interests.

Bart counsels top-tier commercial banks, institutional lenders, real estate developers, and homebuilders on a comprehensive range of financial transactions. From investment-grade and leveraged lending to complex debt restructurings, guidance/borrowing base lines, and note-on-note financing, Bart advises Fortune 100 companies, regional lenders, and developers alike in closing senior and subordinate financings, acquisition, C&I, and asset-based loans.

Bart is an enthusiastic, if not embarrassing, girl dad to his four daughters where he finds his greatest passion. Personal getaways include the baseball diamond and ski mountain.
