Biography
Caroline Capili is an attorney in the Real Estate practice of Jackson Walker’s Houston office. Caroline advises and represents buyers and sellers, developers, landlords, and tenants in all facets of their commercial real estate, including the acquisition, disposition, development, and leasing of multifamily complexes, office and retail space, and undeveloped property.
As a summer associate (2020 and 2021) and 1L LCLD Scholar at Jackson Walker, Caroline gained hands-on experience writing memoranda involving lender liability, e-signatures, and contractual waivers, updating the Media Law Resource Center’s Employment Handbook chapter on Texas Employment Libel Law, and preparing LLC and LP agreements for clients. She also co-authored with Jamila Brinson on an article about the COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act.
Prior to joining Jackson Walker, Caroline interned for U.S. District Judge Marcia A. Crone of the Eastern District of Texas and the University of Notre Dame’s Offices of Institutional Equity, Gift Planning, and General Counsel. She also served as Editor-in-Chief for the Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics & Public Policy and as a research assistant for Professor Dory Durham, researching scholars in racial justice, civil rights, and public policy.
