Biography
Dyana represents clients in civil litigation and government investigation and enforcement actions, including claims involving the False Claims Act (FCA), U.S. export controls, U.S. Customs, U.S. trade sanctions and CFIUS compliance. Dyana has experience representing clients in complex commercial, contract, agricultural, and insurance disputes. She has represented clients in the federal and state courts of California and Texas at the trial and appellate levels.
Dyana also has local and international policy experience. Dyana worked as a policy consultant with the City of Oakland Public Ethics Commission and with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) in Bangkok, Thailand. She lived and worked for five years in Seoul, South Korea, with an international organization established by the Government of South Korea focused on sustainable development. Dyana has also lived in Arequipa, Peru, and backpacked through South America, southeast Asia, India, and eastern Europe.
