Biography
Foster Ford is an attorney in Jackson Walker’s Trusts & Estates section in the Dallas office. He assists individuals, families, and business owners with trust and estate planning and private wealth matters, including numerous sophisticated strategies to minimize estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes.
Foster’s services and strengths include:
- Development and implementation of a broad range of estate plans (both non-taxable and taxable estates), including the preparation of wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, and related documents to accomplish the disposition of estates and to minimize exposure to transfer taxes
- Implementation of a variety of lifetime estate planning techniques
- Formation, operation, and transfer of family business and property ventures, including family limited partnerships and limited liability companies
- Preparation and filing of federal gift and estate tax returns
- Administration of estates, including the probate of wills, the preparation of estate settlement agreements, and fiduciary litigation matters

- Marital property planning, including the preparation of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements

With thorough attention to detail and a client-centered approach, Foster works closely with individuals and multigenerational families to develop tailored solutions that protect and preserve their legacies. Committed to serving both his profession and his community, Foster is actively involved in the Dallas Bar Association’s Probate, Trusts, and Estates Section and the State Bar of Texas’ Real Estate, Probate, and Trust Law Section. He also dedicates his time to pro bono work through the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program and serves on the Special Olympics Young Professionals Board.
