Biography
Graeme Hawkins is an attorney in the Energy practice of Jackson Walkerβs Houston office. His practice focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions and commercial transactions in the energy sector, particularly in the upstream and midstream oil and gas and renewable industries. He also has experience in drafting produced water gathering and disposal agreements and related documents.
In 2020 and 2021, he was a summer associate at the firm and participated in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) 1L Scholars Program. Graeme previously worked as a tax consultant at Deloitte Tax LLP, drafting tax calculations in supporting workpapers and tax forms (Forms 5471, 1065, and 8865) for collateral assets in excess of $12 billion annually. He also interned for a private investment partnership, where he prepared earnings analysis, cash flow projections, and recommendations for the appropriate purchase price of each stock using value-investing methodology.
