Justin has handled an impressive deal flow of real estate-related transactions, fast establishing himself as a go-to lawyer for those looking to buy and sell developed and undeveloped real estate. He works on a wide range of transactions, where he provides end-to-end legal counsel concerning numerous asset types, including commercial, industrial, medical office building, mixed-use, multi-family, office and retail development. He provides advice relating to easements, restrictive covenants and other development agreements. He also regularly represents tenants and landlords in commercial, industrial, office and retail leasing transactions. Justin also advises lenders and borrowers on commercial construction loans and commercial real estate loans.
Clients rely on Justin’s attention to detail and transactional experience on both one-off transactions as well as deals involving larger portfolios of real property. Justin engages and manages local counsel, where necessary, and develops strong working relationships with colleagues in order to oversee each phase of a transaction, from document drafting to close.
Prior to joining Jackson Walker, Justin practiced at a noted real estate boutique firm and served as in-house counsel to Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated.
