Biography
Patrick McCarthy is an attorney in the litigation section of Jackson Walker’s Dallas office with a practice focused on business and commercial litigation in state and federal court as well as in arbitration. Patrick has experience at all stages of litigation and dispute resolution from pre-suit preparation and demand to final disposition, including motion practice, mediation, discovery, hearings, and post-judgment enforcement proceedings.
Patrick’s practice includes representing oil and gas companies in royalty and project development disputes, where he contributes both litigation expertise and his unique perspective and understanding of the industry as a former petroleum landman. He also counsels financial institutions in consumer disputes and complex regulatory matters, non-subscriber employers in workplace injury suits, business owners in non-compete and employment contract disputes, and parties to complex commercial lease, real property, and construction lawsuits.
